Corinthians have confirmed an approach from Napoli for goalkeeper Ralf. With Pepe Reina only on-loan from Liverpool, Napoli remain in the market for a new keeper.

"Yes, I cannot deny it," Corinthians chief Edu Gaspar told CalcioMercato. "Napoli have asked about Ralf.

"I am in contact with some of the leaders from that club, but they have not made a formal proposal yet.

"I've in the papers that a deal has been done, but that is not the case.

"We are willing to keep on talking, but Ralf is indispensable for us. If Napoli were to make an offer, it would have to be very convincing."
