Corinthians director Dulio Alves Monteiro says no deal has been struck with AC Milan for Alexandre Pato.

Monteiro has quashed those rumours saying that the initial fee is too high.

"I had a meeting with the CEO of Milan [Adriano Galliani]," he told reporters. "It was only an initial talk - the negotiation is complicated.

"The figure is high and the player is young. Galliani and I will meet next week and we will talk more."
