Corica chalks up 100 games with Sydney FC

Veteran midfielder Steve Corica will play his 100th match for Sydney FC this weekend. The 35-year olds form this season has been stellar and he is showing no signs of slowing down and admitted that it was a good feeling to notch up the century. "It's nice. This is the fourth season now in the A-League and 100 games is a good milestone so obviously looking forward to a good game this weekend and three points, that's most important," he said. Corica becomes just the third Sky Blues player to reach the milestone following Iain Fyfe and Clint Bolton and just like his peers, would love to taste more success. "We want to make it to the grand final, that's probably more important than playing 100 games for your club so that's my main milestone this year, to make it to another grand final and then obviously we want to win it," Corica added. The milestone match is this Sunday against the Perth Glory at Members Equity Stadium, Perth.
