Dani Pacheco is in talks with Liverpool over a release from his contract.
Cordoba are waiting to sign the Spain U21 international on a free and hope to wrap up a deal this week.
Pacheco has spent the past two seasons on-loan in Spain with Rayo Vallecano and Huesca.
