Manchester City's new executive chairman could be the key to landing Barcelona star Ronaldinho.
The Daily Mail says Nike supremo Garry Cook could be named new City chairman before June 1, with club owner Thaksin Shinawatra eager to have both he and a new manager in-place for the opening of the summer market.
Cook has experience of working with some of Nike's biggest names and Ronaldinho has a long-standing arrangement with the world's leading boot manufacturers.
