Anzhi have struck terms with Inter Milan for Samuel Eto'o after marathon talks yesterday.
Both parties emerged from yesterday's meeting in Rome convinced of an agreement, says Sky Sport 24.
The only delay now is the matter of drawing up contracts, which must be written in Italian and Russian, before a final agreement is put together in English. This may take some days to be completed.
Inter chief Marco Branca said in the afternoon: "For now Eto'o is an Inter player.
"Let's see (if an agreement can be reached), we are very close."
