Birmingham City shareholder Carson Yeung is interested in buying West Brom.

The Hong Kong businessman would have to sell his 29.9 per cent stake in Birmingham first.

Yeung's representative, Sammy Yu, confirmed a controlling share is most likely.

He said: "If we can take more than 51 per cent, maybe we can consider. What happened at Birmingham really let us down."
