West Ham boss Alan Curbishley was delighted to give Scott Parker his debut in this week's Carling Cup victory over Plymouth.

He said: "Parker needed to feel his way into it, and he needed to get through it. No matter how much you train you need to play games, and at least we've got him back playing."
