West Ham boss Curbishley urges coaches to work abroad

Alan Curbishley told The Sun he would love to see an invasion of English managers abroad.

West Ham boss Curbs is puzzled as to why Englishman continue to be overlooked for top jobs.

The search is on for Steve McClaren's successor and it seems highly unlikely that the job will go to an Englishman.

And Curbs said: "When the good jobs come up in Europe Brits are overlooked. I don't know why.

"It would certainly help managers from this country to gain experience abroad.

"Apart from Chris Coleman in Spain, no one is doing it."
