West Brom goalkeeper Luke Daniels could be sidelined at Shrewsbury after having 15 stitches in a severely cut mouth and injuring his leg against Port Vale at the weekend.

Daniels was taken to hospital after a clash with Marc Richards as the Vale man scored a controversial late winner.

"He had three different cuts in his mouth, and he also has a dead leg," said Town boss Paul Simpson. "I've watched the replay countless times and how the ref didn't give a foul I just don't know."
