West Brom boss: Kim Do-heon wonderful talent

The South Korean midfielder joined the promotion-chasing championship club on loan from Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma in January but to date the 25 year-old has made only three substitute appearances.

"Kim will get more of an opportunity now Filipe is injured," Mowbray told the club's official website.

"I'm just waiting for the right time. He's very, very exciting in training."

"He's a wonderful footballer and I want to get him on the pitch but, at this moment, the team is going okay and Kim will have to be a bit patient for his opportunity."

As well as seeing his skills in training, Mowbray has seen enough to suggest Kim can cope with the physical demands of England's second-tier.

"When I spoke to his ex-managers before we signed him they expressed a concern that the Championship might be too combative for his style of play," Mowbray admitted.

"Yet he competes in training, no problem. I have every faith that he will come through the test ahead of him."
