He said: "Dimitar is a very ambitious guy and he will get what he wants because he is top quality, a world-class player. The last two seasons he has been very dangerous.

"I'm not surprised that the big teams are looking at him. I hope he fulfils his ambitions. Obviously, he also wants to be happy and I hope that he will be when everything is all over.

"He is under a lot of pressure right now to score goals and all of a sudden there is this saga over whether he is going to leave.
