Real Valladolid coach Jose Luis Mendilibar clashed with youngster Jonathan Sesma in training yesterday.

Mendilibar steamed into Sesma - pushing him in the chest - after the player initially had ignored his requests to cross the training field and speak with him.

While admitting afterwards he had been "struck", Sesma insisted he had no problems with Mendilibar's methods.

"It's not the first time this has happened with a coach," he said. "I know that I am sometimes difficult to get through to. It's just something that happens in training."
