Dinamo executive chairman Cristi Borcea said in the Daily Record: "The Scottish club make statements the transfer is not done. Niculae is our player! We have contacted UEFA to get his clearance."
Inverness director of football Graeme Bennett responded strongly, saying, "Caley Thistle had agreed a deal with the club and player verbally but hadn't yet got the paperwork."
"We are going to retain Marius' registration until such time as all the legally-binding documents are in our hands.
"In other words, Marius is not going to get international clearance to play for Dinamo this coming weekend until we are satisfied our side of the bargain is secure.
"If this is not sorted in the next day or two, Marius will be coming back to Inverness."
