On March 26 this year, the two nations were scheduled to meet in Pyongyang in the previous round of qualification but FIFA moved the March 26 match from the North Korean capital to Shanghai after a row over the playing of anthems and the flying of flags.
"I hope it will not be the same as last time and I hope that we can play the game in Pyongyang," Chung said in Seoul.
"In Seoul we flew North Korea's flag and played their national anthem. This is FIFA's rule and I hope that North Korea can do the same."
