Sint-Truiden snap up Hearts winger Beslija

Hearts winger Mirsad Beslija has signed for Belgium's Sint-Truiden on a season-long loan.

The 28-year-old, who cost the Tynecastle outfit £850,000 from RacingGenk in January 2006, has agreed a deal for the coming campaign with the option of an additional season.

Beslija's agent Dejan Veljkovic said: "Mirsad has agreed a one-year deal, with the option of another year at Sint-Truiden. He is a good player and it's possible that Hearts will take him back, but, if not, he can stay in Belgium.

"It's good for him to be back in football as he was not happy in Scotland. He is known well in Belgium and one year is good for him after his injury problems. He just wants to play now."
