Wilson's girls will now only have pride to play for in Sunday's clash with holders Germany.
Wilson, whose side lost 2-1 in their opening game against Sweden on Monday, said: "We're disappointed to lose the game and disappointed that the tournament is over for us.
"We did well to level the game after losing the early goal, and showed a lot of spirit.
"In both our games we've lost goals at critical times, but in football you can do all the preparations in the world but there's always that bit of luck involved in the game."
