Sampdoria are in talks with San Lorenzo for defender Jonathan Bottinelli.

The Argentine's agent, Jose Manuel Butragueno, told calciomercato.com: "We are talking with San Lorenzo, although we have not yet closed the negotiations.

"The single road that is open at the moment is the one with Sampdoria. Difficulties? There's none, it's just that sometimes there are negotiations ending in 24 hours, others in a month.

"It's just a matter of time."
