Rijkaard nervous about Barcelona fans' reception

It will be Rijkaard's first appearance at the Nou Camp since the announcement that he would be replaced at the end of the season by Pep Guardiola.

The Dutchman said: "If one wants to applaud, they must applaud the club and all the players, but it is a difficult time, we have not achieved what we wanted, and if there are whistles, they will also be for me because I am part of the group.

"There is no one who deserves applause more than others, we are all in the same boat and I do not want to be an exception in that sense."

Rijkaard also defended Barca president Joan Laporta over this season's trophyless campaign.

He added: "Frankly, I am not the person to blame anyone. I assume my responsibility. What I can say is that perhaps there is too much 'president' talk - the president cannot get onto the pitch and score goals."
