Rice: Falkirk targeting Premiership talent

Falkirk assistant boss Brian Rice admits they want to add to their squad on transfer deadline day.

Rice hopes Falkirk's reputation as a learning place for talented youngsters from England's top clubs can encourage players to come north.

"We have built up good relationships with some of the top clubs in England," he said. "Who would have thought four years ago that Falkirk could attract these boys like Anthony Stokes and Kasper Schmeichel.

"You would have laughed at us, but no-one is laughing now. Kasper is playing in the Premiership now.

"You can add Daryl Duffy and Alan Gow to that. It's credit to the club and the manager that helped these boys move on to the bigger things."
