Recreativo Huelva president Francisco Mendoza insists Trabzonspor striker Ersen Martin will eventually join them.

"If God wants, the player will soon join Recreativo," said Mendoza, who is waiting on FIFA to rule in their favour as Trabzonspor continue to block Martin from moving to Spain.

"I believe the Turks were never serious in selling him. They just wanted to please the player, so they told him they'd sell him to us but without accepting our offer."
