Recreativo Huelva's hopes of signing Trabzonspor striker Ersen Martin has stalled.

Trabzonspor and Recre are set for a FIFA hearing over the Turkey international's transfer and in the meantime it's emerged that the player will have surgery this week on an injured knee.

Martin is currently based in Munich and was visited by Recre medical chief Cesar Quesada over the weekend. Quesada returned to Huelva yesterday admitting the forward was "four to six weeks" away from playing again.
