He said: "We have a very full and very broad squad list. We have changed 19 players in 16 months and we have not, thus far, any intention of doing more recruitment.

"Obviously there will be some touching up, but we have not planned anything major."

Calderon also had praise for midfielder Guti, who is still to sign his proposed lifetime contract.

"He is a player who has given us a lot and will continue to do so in the years that he is here. He is a genius and like all geniuses, has his ups and downs, but brings a lot to this team when we need it."
