Rankin ready to quit Inverness Caley

Manager Craig Brewster told the midfielder in November he could leave if the right offer came in.

Despite a number of impressive goalscoring performances in recent weeks, Rankin is certain to be looking for a move in January.

The player's agent, Tom Callaghan said: "Since Craig Brewster took over, we've actually been told twice that he can go. For three months he wasn't near the first team and even though he has played the last three games, the situation hasn't changed.

"The fact he is now back in the team and scoring doesn't alter anything as far as we're concerned."
