The Nigerian full-back has been training with Harry Redknapp's outfit this summer in a bid to earn a deal at Fratton Park.

Redknapp is looking for a new left-back but he has ruled out a permanent move for Babayaro.

"Unfortunately Babayaro is not what I need, so there won't be anything going there," Redknapp told The News.
