Porter convinced Motherwell strikers can net 60 goals

The Englishman is currently on 12 following his strike against Gretna and Ross McCormack sits one behind after a double in Saturday's 3-1 win.

David Clarkson is also in double figures with 10 and Porter says that 20 is a realistic target for each of the trio.

"We want to score as many as we can but if all three of us got 20 it would be superb. It is possible and we should all be aiming for it. Twenty goals would be a great return for us," said Clarkson.

Defender Paul Quinn also paid tribute to the Motherwell front line and reckons they are the best in the SPL.

"I am biased but the front three at Motherwell would be hard to beat this season. There are some really good strikers in the SPL but our three have been immense this year."

Spirits are currently high at Fir Park as they sit third in the table and free-scoring McCormack has been heavily linked with a move to the Premiership.

"We missed Chris so much against Dundee and Clarkson and McCormack have been excellent around him. They've been a joy to work with. Ross deserves a big move and is one of the few top players in the league," added Quinn.
