Porter continues stellar form in Carling Cup loss

Hartlepool has gone down 3-2 to Leeds after leading twice in the third round of the English Carling Cup. Australian striker Joel Porter struck again for the 'Pools in the 33rd minute to put his side up 2-1 before Leeds struck back twice to progress through to the fourth round. Porter's third goal in the Carling Cup was a cracker, hit from 25 yards and giving Leeds keeper Casper Ankergren no chance. The 29-year old has been in fine form recently and now has four goals from ten appearances so far this season.
