Stuart Pearce has revealed all his England U21 players have a chance of catching the eye of senior boss Fabio Capello.

Pearce told talkSPORT: "The first conversation I had with him he said he wanted a full report on all the players I have in my squad and my recommendations on where they possibly might end up.

"That, for me, was a massive bonus. The players in my squad know that I'm meeting up with the seniors and talking to the national manager.

"Everyone in my squad should aspire to a place in the senior team, which should be the progression they are all looking for. It helps when they know that they have someone on the inside batting their corner if they are doing well."
