Scott Parker insists West Ham won't 'do a Newcastle'.
Parker said: "There's no danger of us becoming the Newcastle of the South.
"We've got a very good squad and I'm sure the people running the club are going to do the best job they can.
"It hasn't been difficult to concentrate. As a player, you hear and read what's being said but we know what our own priorities are.
"The players don't talk about it. I've not heard anything to suggest anyone is upset and there's no anxiety among the players.
"We can still be a big club, a club which is on the up."
