Scott Parker makes his West Ham debut tonight against Carling Cup opponents Plymouth following his £7million switch from Newcastle.

The midfielder damaged his knee in pre-season.

Boss Alan Curbishley said: "He's not the kind of player you can tell to ease himself in.

"He will give it the full gun for as long as he is on the pitch."
