Seyi Olofinjana is backing Stoke pal Dave Kitson to break his duck against West Brom this week in the absence of Ricardo Fuller.

The midfielder said: "Ricardo Fuller has been brilliant for us all season. He has scored a few goals and will be missed.

"But I think this is an opportunity for somebody like Dave Kitson to come in.

"He has done ever so well and has been working very hard but has yet to score himself. When he does then the season starts from there."
