Ugandan wing-back David Obua has won his work permit appeal to become Hearts' first signing of the summer.

Hearts managing director Campbell Ogilvie told the club's official website: "We are delighted to have secured this decision.

"David is sure to be a valuable addition to Hearts both on and off the field.

"Even though he is still a young player he has achieved great success and he is likely to impress our supporters."
