"It's great that Jussi and Bibi have signed new deals," The Trotters skipper told the club's official website.
"It will take Jussi up to his 14th year with Bolton and Bibi up to his 13th. I've been getting a bit of stick because my contract takes me up to 12 years so I'm third in the line now!
"There's been a good bit of banter but I'm absolutely delighted that they have both signed because they are massive players and we missed them for a big part of last season.
"I'm delighted that we've spent money on two quality players. From what I saw of Fabrice last year, he looks like he'll be a good addition to the squad.
"I haven't seen much of Elmander yet but I'm sure if you're getting the goals in the French league and you're a Swedish international then he's not going to be short of the quality that we need."
