Finnish goalkeeper Henri Sillanpaa has been handed trials by Motherwell.

The 28-year-old plays for VPS Vassa, currently ninth in the Veikkaulsiiga, where he has been for seven years.

"There are three games left in the Finnish league and my team want me to stay but hopefully something gets sorted out," he told the 'Well website.

"It would be good to try something new in Scotland. I was down at Bradford a few years ago so I am familiar with the British style of football."
