The 20-year-old insists there is no reason why Hibs should not replace Motherwell this season.
"It's our goal to get directly in to the UEFA Cup this season," he said.
"Motherwell did it last year and they did well but we are probably a bigger club than them.
"Different teams are tipped ever year to get that UEFA spot but you won't know until around Christmas time, that's when the league unfolds.
"But we want to finish third and get European nights back to Easter Road."
