He was made redundant by Gretna on Wednesday and said: "It's not a great situation to be in, but David [Irons] and Derek [Collins] have given me a lifeline until the end of the season.

"We'll see where we go from there."

Paartalu added: "I only started four or five games at Gretna and it was a very frustrating time for me. Going on loan to Stirling gave me games and got my confidence back."
