Newcastle academy boss Richard Money says everyone at the club are staying focused on on-field matters.
Money is assistant caretaker coach Chris Hughton and told Sky Sports News: "I have been asked to help Chris, he is not in an easy position at the moment and what ever he wants me to do I will do it.
"I don't think anyone is worrying about the future, if we do that then there is a danger another week can slip by.
"We have to focus totally on Saturday's match and at the minute, as far as I know, Chris will be in control and as far as I know he will ask me to help and if that is the case come Friday morning then that is what will happen."
