He said: "I was sitting at Dnipro knowing that if we didn't qualify and get the funds available from the European league section then I might not be able to talk to anybody.
"Now I have got a little bit of cash. I'm pretty relaxed about the negotiations, I'm not getting any negative feedback from the players.
"They are all enjoying their football up here and, if we can come to a financial agreement, they will commit themselves. I have pushed the boat out as far as I can.
"In Scottish terms, it's a good package that they have been offered. If they want to go down south, it's awash with money and that's a very difficult situation.
"I've got another couple of players I can speak to this week and hopefully we can get everybody to sign."
