Motherwell boss Mark McGhee is confident striker Ross McCormack will soon pen a new contract.

The 21-year-old has a deal which is due to expire at the end of the season, but talks over an extension are well advanced.

"I am confident that we can get things sorted out when we put our offer on the table," said McGhee.
