After victory over Israel, England boss Steve McClaren insists he's always had the support of his players.

"They have always been behind me," he said. "I would know if there weren't. That's what kept me going in the bad times, especially after Andorra because the players were fully committed.

"They are behind me, behind the coaching staff and behind what we are trying to do."
