Leicester cut loose Iran winger Hossein Kaebi

Kaebi who made two successive starts for Leicester last week is one of seven players to have been released by the Foxes after being deemed surplus to requirements by coach Ian Holloway.

The 22 year-old joined the club in the summer from Iranian giants Persepolis and has been linked with a move back to his old club.

Leicester boss, Ian Holloway told reporters: "I feel for them. They need to get on with their lives. They did not have a future here, and I wish them the best of luck. I have sent them away from now until the transfer window opens so that they can try to get themselves fixed up with moves or trials at other clubs."

Holloway had expressed his frustration with Kaebi's poor English, despite the Iranian moving to England several months ago.
