Kim Do-heon to sign permanently with West Brom

The South Korean arrived at the Hawthorns in January from Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma.

The 25 year-old international didn't enjoy much playing time as the Baggies clinched promotion but he did enough to convince boss Tony Mowbray that he has a part to play in the Premier League next season.

"Last week I was told that West Brom had decided to offer Kim a contract," a representative of the player, Jung Jae-hoon told .

"A formal contract will be made on Wednesday."

If the deal goes through Kim will become the fifth Korean to play in the Premier League.
