Jol: I'll take Spurs chairman at his word

"I can only listen to what Daniel Levy is telling me," Jol, who is under pressure to keep his job, said. "Provided we play good football and get the results, there is no problem.

"If you don't get the results, you have to analyse what is going wrong."

He added: "If you see the players' commitment today, there is no problem. The only thing we have to do is get results as we did before.

"The season starts now: Michael Dawson and Younes Kaboul played together for the first time and did quite well but not that well, because if you see the second goal, there is no block or pressure on the ball."
