Ipswich boss Jim Magilton has dismissed reports that Premier League side West Ham have made an approach for forward Danny Haynes.

Stories in the national press claimed Hammers boss Alan Curbishley had lodged a £1.5million bid for the 19 year old but Magilton insists that he is not on his way out of Portman Road.

Magilton told the club's official website: "There is nothing in it. We have not had any contact from West Ham regarding Danny or any other player at this football club."
