Hibs boss John Collins expects young striker Steven Fletcher to break into the full Scotland squad.

"Anyone who knows football will tell you that Steven's performances this season have been excellent," said the manager. "He's looking more mature and more of a threat with each game we play. He's a good size for a striker and there's not too many of them about.

"Yes, there are aspects of his game he still has to work on. But at 20 he's a good age. The next stage, hopefully, will be to move up into the full squad before the end of the season. It would be nice if he got that opportunity."

Talks over an extension to Fletcher's contract at Easter Road are expected to continue next week.
