The Barca B coach hasn't been appointed as Frank Rijkaard's replacement, but AS says he has begun preparations to take over from the Dutchman, along with assistants Luis Enrique Martinez and Jose Ramon Alexanco.

The trio are working under the supervision of sports director Txiki Begiristain, though the Barca board is still to sign off on Guardiola due to concerns over his lack of experience.
