West Brom coach Peter Grant says a fit-again Filipe Teixeira will be like a new signing.

"Filipe's back at the club now and will train with us on Thursday," first-team coach Grant told West Brom's website.

"He has done a lot of football work by all accounts.

"He will be assessed, have all of his fitness tests and hopefully he can start football work with us on Thursday.

"It will be good to have him involved.

"He is progressing and we are delighted because it will be like another new signing.

"I am looking forward to working with him because I like what I saw of him last season."
