Mikael Forssell is confident he'll settle his future at Birmingham City.

The Finn is off contract in the summer and said: "I'm hoping my best years are in front of me. I'm 26 and that is what I am hoping for and that is what I am working on.

"I know personally it is a long road. I've worked a lot in my career to keep going and I need to keep improving.

"I need to do extra training to keep my body fit and that is what I am doing all the time, so I'm just ticking all the boxes to try to be the best I can be.

"I feel I have unfinished business here because I want to do better than I've done in the last couple of years. I want to get a run of games and goals."
