Falkirk goalkeeper Jamie Barclay has joined East Stirlingshire on a three-month loan deal. Bairns head coach John Hughes believes first-team experience will serve Barclay well.
"It's another stage in the youngster's development as he will be able to play regular first-team football in a competitive environment," Hughes told the Falkirk website.
"I'm sure the experience will see him return to Falkirk a better goalkeeper."
Barclay, who had a spell on loan at Partick Thistle last season, will continue to train with Falkirk goalkeeping coach Jim Preston during the loan spell.
