"In lots of quarters Berbatov has been a bit of a disgrace - with his body language and attitude to situations.
"He's hedging his bets, saying that he's happy just to keep the fans off his back, but deep down, if he wants to be at (Manchester) United, he should tell Spurs."
But Walsh added: "Even if he does want to leave, he's still got to play to his potential and do his best. People will show him a lot more respect if he does that rather than sulk."
